First meeting of the Working Time Council

Alex Ferry Foundation grantee, the 4 Day Week Foundation, is coming together with MPs, business and industry leaders and trade unions today for the first time to discuss how to make shorter working time a reality across the economy.

Following the success of the pilot trials set up by the 4 Day Week Foundation, the newly formed Working Time Council will coordinate on policy and implementation of a shorter working week. Its first meeting, hosted by Maya Ellis MP, marks a significant milestone in the movement for shorter working time.
